Switch Firmware Updates - C2604 from 2026-08-19 23:00 BST to 2026-08-20 02:00 BST

In line with industry best practice, we will be carrying out firmware updates on a number of Cisco switches within our network core.

Each switch will be rebooted individually to minimise any impact on customers with resilient services. Following each reboot, our monitoring systems will be checked to confirm that all circuits have returned to service before work begins on the next device.

The anticipated service interruption for each device is less than ten minutes.

Should we encounter any unforeseen issues, our backout plan is to restore the previous configuration and reboot the affected switch using the current production firmware.
